Thanks Be To God

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a quick Easter card using stamps, dies, paper and pearls all from Stamp Simply.

I love all of the verses in both the He Has Risen and He Lives stamp sets!  The fonts are gorgeous and the verses are perfect for Easter as well as throughout the year.

To create this card:

Die cut a piece of 4 ¼” x 5 ½” white cardstock with the Tim Holtz Mixed Media #1 die, trim to approx. 4” x 5 ¼”.

De-static the right hand area with an embossing powder tool, ink the verse sentiment from He Has Risen with Versafine Onyx Black ink, stamp onto the prepared panel, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Once the embossing has cooled, layer a piece of the gingham patterned paper from the Farmer’s Market 6x6 Paper behind the die cut area.

Mount the panel onto a white card base.

De-static another piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, stamp the daffodil image from He Lives with Versafine Black Onyx ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Water color the image using water-based markers and die cut with the coordinating die (die-cutting a second floral image from white cardstock to layer behind the colored image).

Mount the daffodil image to the card front using dimensional foam.

Finish off the card with a few pearls in the upper right-hand and lower left-hand corners.

If you have not had a chance to check out the rest of my Sister Design Team cards on the Stamp Simply blog, I hope you will do so- gorgeous creations from all!!
