HYCCT1404 Holding It Together

Hi Again Stampers!

Here is another card I created yesterday for the Splitcoaststampers Hope You CanCling To Challenge (HYCCT) to promote Breast Cancer Awareness and create cards to encourage those with cancer and their families.

This card was created for Cook22 aka Sabrina’s HYCCT1404 “Holding It Together” Challenge- (see the gallery here and the details here).

I hope you will find the time to check out the links above and if you can, come play along!

To create this card:

Use the Distressing Tool to distress a piece of Graphic 45 French Country background paper and using a sewing machine, attach the background to the Whisper White card base.

Sew the garden panel from Graphic 45’s French Country and sew on the sentiment (Bloom with Hope Hostess set stamped with Soft Suede Classic Ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and banners created with the Hexagon Punch).

Use a Sponge Dauber to add Soft Suede along the edges to tone down the Whisper White cardstock as well as distress the edges a bit.

I should bring out my sewing machine more often- this card was so quick and easy to create!!

Stamp Sets: Bloom with Hope

Ink:  Soft Suede

Paper: Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Graphic 45 French Country

Accessories: Sponge Dauber, Hexagon Punch, Sewing Machine

Thanks again for visiting- I will be sharing more of the challenges soon!!  Have a great weekend and hope you can play along for this great cause!

Thanks Deba! This card is created all from paper (the French Country Collection from Graphic 45)...this is a retired collection but a few suppliers still have some of the items in stock :-) Thanks again for your sweet comments- hugs to you, my friend!!
