This
card for another entry in the Splitcoaststampers Hope You Can Cling ToChallenge (HYCCT) to promote Breast Cancer Awareness and create cards to
encourage those with cancer and their families.
This
card was created for Holly aka hbrown’s HYCCT1403 “Stripping Down” Challenge-
(see the gallery here and the details here).
I
hope you will find the time to check out the links above and see all of the
wonderful samples – again, so much inspiration!
Create
the log cabin quilt design using Designer Series Paper (DSP) Strips from
retired Night and Day DSP along with retired Blushing Bride DSP (I googled “Log
Cabin Quilt Patterns” online and modified to create a 4”x4” square).
Use
the Big Shot™ with the retired Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions™ Embossing
Folder to emboss the quilt panel.
Trim the quilt panel to "square up" and mount onto Basic Black cardstock, trim again and mount onto Blushing Bride
DSP, trim and mpount onto Basic Black cardstock.
Add
the 5/8” Basic Black Satin Triple Ribbon bow to the corner and mount the entire
panel onto the Blushing Bride card front.
Stamp
the sentiment using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink at the bottom of the card front-
add a few Pearls along with the die cut cat to finish off the card (you know
me, I have to have a cat :-))
My sweet Angel :-) |
