Hi Stampers!
Here is another card that I created using this week’s DynamicDuos DD85 Colour Challenge- “Bold & Cheery” Garden Green and Summer
Starfruit.
The DD85 challenge has been
extended for an additional week- we are hoping to see your creation in the Dynamic Duos gallery :-)
To create this card:
In My Digital Studio (MDS), open a blank 8.5 x 11 custom page and
insert the Sunflower and the sentiment from Thanks for Caring to be printed
(arrange the images on the blank page leaving room for cutting out by hand,
etc. and filling the page before I print on my printer).
Print out onto Whisper White cardstock and color the Sunflower
background image using Stampin’ Write markers in Summer Starfruit. Add a few
highlights to the Sunflower petals using Moonlight Smooch™ Pearlized Accent Ink,
fussy cut the image and cut in half.
Use the Big Shot™ with the Pretty Print Textured Impressions™
Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock and the retired
Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Garden
Green cardstock.
Adhere the embossed piece of Whisper White to the Garden Green
card base, add the split Sunflower image and the vertical Garden Green embossed
piece mounted onto Whisper White cardstock (I used scrap Whisper White strips
on the side :-)).
Use the Big Shot™ with the Ovals Collection Framelits™ to cut
out the sentiment along with another oval the same size from Garden Green
cardstock. Split the Garden Green oval
in half and adhere to the back of the sentiment.
Mount the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’
Dimensionals®, add the 5/8” Organza Ribbon bow along with the Pearls to
finish off the card.

This might be the best card with that color combination. I will admit Summer Starfruit hasn't been my favorite. It's a beautiful card.
