Hi Stampers!!
I
wanted to create a card using this week’s Pals Paper Arts PPA186 Colors and the
first Christmas card for 2014 (I signed up again for the Splitcoaststampers’
Christmas CCC14 Card Challenge). Last
year I still did not get to mail all of the cards that I wanted to mail- will
try again this year :-)
I
hope you will find the time to stop by the both sites to check out all of the
designs- great inspiration by all!
To
create this card:
Use
the Big Shot™ along with the retired Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions™
Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
Cut
the ornament die cuts from the Gold Foil Paper and attach to a piece of Whisper
White cardstock. Carefully hand cut
around the ornaments and add the Gold cord.
Stamp
the sentiment using Island Indigo Classic Ink – trim and cut the banner points
using the Hexagon Punch. Add the Island
Indigo banners (punched from the new SAB Banner Punch) and mount to the card
front using Stampin’ Dimensionals® .
Add
the triple Satin Ribbon Bow (from my stash) tucking the ends behind the panel
and mount the ornaments to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals® (adhering
the Gold cord behind the panel).
To
finish off the card, mount the entire panel to the Whisper White card base
using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.
Stamp
Sets: Christmas Greetings
Ink: Island
Indigo
Paper:
Whisper White, Island Indigo, Gold Foil
Accessories: Big Shot™, Ornament Die Cuts, Hexagon
and Banner Punches, retired Gold cord, Satin Ribbon from my stash
Thanks for stopping
by- I hope you have a great Tuesday!
