Choose Happiness- A Color and a Sketch Challenge :-)
I have had a busy week creating samples for the upcoming Dare to Get Dirty Challenge at Splitcoaststampers :-) If you are not a Fan Club Member yet, it is not too late to join and participate in the daily challenges- they are so much fun and you will get to see all of the samples along with the amazing hostess designs!
I had a chance to stamp this evening and create a few cards for some of my favorite weekly challenges. This card was created using the CAS(E) This Sketch CTS85 Sketch and the CC487 Color Challengeat Splitcoaststampers.
Again, I hope you will take the time (if you have not done so already) to visit the challenge sitea to check out the Design Team entries as well as the gallery- wonderful designs and inspiration from all!!
To create this Clean and Simple (CAS) card:
Stamp the blossom from Choose Happiness using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock.
Color the blossom using a Stampin’ Write Crisp Cantaloupe marker along with the Stampin’ Blendabilities™ Light Calypso Coral marker and “fussy cut” out the image. Add a few highlights to the center using the Chalk Marker.
Stamp the branches using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink onto the Whisper White card base per the sketch. Color the branch portion using the Stampin’ Write Soft Suede marker and the leaves using the Pear Pizzazz marker.
Use a Sponge Dauber to sponge Soft Key Classic Ink around the leaves and stamp the sentiment using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink. Use the retired Color Spritzer Tool along with the Soft Suede Stampin’ Write marker to add a bit of splatter to the background.
Adhere the blossom to the center using Stampin’ Dimensionals® to finish off the card.
