Christ the Lord is Risen Today- Hallelujah!!

Hi Stampers!

As I sat in my craft room last night, I wanted to create a few cards reflecting on the sacrifice that Christ made for each of us, His free gift of salvation and our Risen Savior.

Easter is a time of celebration for our Risen Lord and Savior!!  This first card focuses on our Risen Lord and was created using the FM203 Friday Mashup! Color Challenge (So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Pool Party) along with the Just Us Girls JUGS287 Word Challenge- Spring and the Our Daily Bread Designs ODBDSLC232 Anything Goes! Challenge.

If you have not had time to do so, I hope you will have a chance to visit the challenge sites and check out the wonderful Design Team projects as well as the other entrants- again, fabulous inspiration from all!

 To create this card:
Use the Big Shot™ with the Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) Vintage Flourish Pattern Die to cut the frame from a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
Adhere the frame to a piece of Pool Party cardstock and trim around the edges.
Cut the sentiment from the ODBD Chalkboard Collection 6x6 Paper Pad and mount onto the frame panel.
Add the 5/8” Basic Black Satin Ribbon bow to the panel and mount the panel onto the Basic Black card base.
Create the rolled flowers using retired So Saffron and Calypso Coral Designer Series Paper (DSP) using the Big Shot™ with the My Favorite Things (MFT) Royal Rose Die and Mini Royal Rose Dies.
Roll the floral dies into spirals and adhere the centers with adhesive (I used Hot Glue).
Punch the leaves using the Martha Stewart Leaf Punch from Pistachio Pudding cardstock and adhere the leaves and roses to the card front to finish off the card.
Stamp Sets: None
Ink: None
Paper/Cardstock:  Whisper White, Pool Party, Pistachio Pudding, retired Calypso Coral and So Saffron DSP; ODBD Chalkboard Paper Collection
Accessories: Big Shot™, ODBD Vintage Flourish Pattern Die, MFT Royal Rose Die, MFT Mini Rose Die, retired 5/8” Basic Black Satin Ribbon

Thanks again for stopping by- I hope all of you have a great Easter Weekend celebrating our Risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!
