Hi Again Stampers!
I wanted
to share another card that I created this past weekend using the FabFri65 Color Challenge along with the Splitcoaststampers’ SC527 Sketch Challenge (see
details here and gallery here) and Simon Wednesday 05/27/15 "Anything Goes" Challenge for inspiration.
I have a few people in mind for this card so I wanted to make sure that it would be feminine or masculine in style :-)
Again, if
you have not had a chance to do so, I hope you will find the time to visit both
challenge sites to check out the Design Team samples as well as their
galleries!
To create this Clean and Layered (CAL) card:
Ink the Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) As You Graduate image
using Stāz-On® Jet Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
Using a Faber-Castell® Pitt Pen Black marker, fill in the
butterflies in the foreground.
Use an AquaPainter™ with Marina Mist Classic Ink to color in
the sky/cloud area and the Sahara Sand Stampin’ Write Marker to color in the
stone path.
Trim the image and mount onto a piece of Crushed Curry
cardstock, trim and mount onto a piece of Night of Navy cardstock.
Using My Digital Studio (MDS) insert the Word Art Wednesday
free digital verse image, re-size and print out onto Whisper White cardstock.
Trim the verse and mount onto a piece of Crushed Curry
cardstock, trim again and mount onto a piece of Night of Navy cardstock.
Adhere the verse panel to the front of the focal image panel
and set aside.
Use the Big Shot™ with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions™
Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock, trim and mount onto a piece of Crushed
Curry cardstock, trim again and mount onto the Night of Navy card base.
Adhere the retired Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper
(DSP) strips to Night of Navy cardstock and mount onto the card base.
Add the focal image using Stampin’ Dimensionals® to finish
off the card.

Lovely silhouette image that your show off perfectly on your card! The cross as the background is a neat way to tie in with the sentiment! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
