This week on the Stamp Simply Blog, we have been featuring cards with the new Stick Family Add-Ons Release! I hope you will find the time to check out the rest of the Design Team samples- such inspiration from all!
Today
I am sharing a card designed with the new Stick
Family Add-Ons and Stick
Family Sentiment Add-Ons along with the Cupid
& Co 6x6 Paper Pad by Echo Park from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!
The new Stick Family Add-Ons and Stick Family Sentiment Add-Ons are the perfect complement to the original Stick Family and Stick Family Sentiments stamp sets.
The Stick Family stamps are part of a bundle and are so cute!
As noted on the Stamp Simply site, the Stick Family sets were “created just for fun – for kids and adults alike. With so many children out of school right now and parents home with them – what better time to introduce your children to stamping. Teach them the lost art of letter writing – made fun with a card! They can have fun recreating their own family or perhaps the friend or family they would like to send a card to. There are so many options.
Adults can enjoy these sets just as well.
Imagine how much your child or grandchild will enjoy opening a card and
“recognizing” him or herself on the card!
The Mom and Dad can also double as Grandma and
Grandpa, and with the variety of children included you will be able to create
any grouping you might desire.
And did you notice everyone is bald – LOL! That
was with intention. We want the user to be able to create any person they would
like – so by adding your own hairdo you can truly create just that person! And
have fun with those hairdos. This set is not meant for perfection, it’s meant
for FUN!
We have created a STICK FAMILY HAIRSTYLING TIP
SHEET that will be included with each purchase”
I decided to create an encouragement card for someone going through chemo. The girl image was stamped onto the designer paper from the Cupid & Co pad and then fussy cut to paper piece her clothing, scarf, and shoes.
As many of you who follow my blog know, I love to participate with online challenges and used the Splitcoaststampers SC831 Sketch Challenge for the layout.
I will also be linking this card to The Color Throwdown #629 Color Challenge (I hope the little bit of green leaves are OK :-)) along with the Word Art Wednesday #477-#478 “Anything Goes” Challenge.
If
you have not had time to check out the Stamp Simply blog or the other challenge
sites yet, I hope you will do so- fabulous inspiration from all!
