Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a quick floral card that was designed using the Get Well Tulip Bundle along with the Farmhouse Simple Sentiments stamp set, the Craft Consortium Grunge Dark 6x6 Paper Pad and a few other supplies all from Stamp Simply.

Mother’s Day is on the horizon and I thought the sentiment would be perfect for a wonderful mother (or mother figure) in your life.

As many of you who follow my blog know, I enjoy playing along with online challenges and am linking this card to the Cardz 4 Galz #169 “Spring Flowers for Mother’s Day or Spring Flowers” Challenge and the Simon Says Wednesday “Anything Goes” Challenge.

To create this card:

Trim a piece of the white cardstock to 4” x 5 ¼”, emboss with the Darice Vine Pattern embossing folder. 

Add a strip of the 1.5” white Raschel lace onto the dry embossed panel, mount the panel onto a white card base.

 Ink the tulip image from the Get Well Tulip stamp set with Versafine Black Onyx ink, stamp the image onto a piece of red and again onto a piece of green patterned Grunge Dark paper. 

Fussy cut the image – the petals from the red pattern and the leaves/stem from the green and adhere to the tulip die cut from white cardstock to create the paper pieced design.

Ink the sentiment from Farmhouse Simple Sentiments with Versafine Black Onyx ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Die cut the sentiment with the Fishtail Sentiment Banner Dies and die cut another banner from white cardstock.  Adhere the sentiment onto the blank die cut (this helps create a thicker die cut).

Adhere the sentiment first onto the card front and then add the die cut  using dimensional foam.

Use a clear glitter pen to add shimmer to the petals and finish off the card with a few black rhinestones.
