Stamp Simply July 2024 Release- Seed Packet Peony

 

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a card designed with the brand new Vintage Seed Packet release, Vintage Seed Packet Bundle and the Vintage Peony Bundle (all from Stamp Simply). 

To create this card:

De-static a piece of white cardstock and a piece of gray patterned designer paper (from the Craft Consortium Baroque 6x6 paper pad) with an embossing powder tool.

Ink the Vintage Peony image and the Vintage Seed Packet background stamp using Versafine Black Onyx ink.  Stamp the peony image onto the white cardstock panel and the background image onto the gray designer paper.

Apply clear embossing powder to both images and heat set with a heat tool.

Die cut the oval from the center of the background image using the Vintage Seed Packet Bundle dies and die cut the peony image with the coordinating Vintage Peony die.

Watercolor the peony using distress inks and watercolor pencils.

De-static a piece of black cardstock with an embossing powder tool, ink the sentiment from Vintage Peony with Versamark ink, apply white embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Die cut the sentiment with the Fishtail Sentiment Banners Die and layer behind the peony image.

Trim the background stamp image close to the edge of the image, mount onto white cardstock (leaving the lower edge of the die cut oval unattached for the moment).

Trim the white cardstock, mount onto black cardstock, trim and mount onto poppy cardstock.

Insert the colored/die cut peony into the oval die cut area (trimming off the stem to allow it to fit) and adhere to the interior of the oval.

To finish off the card, add a bit of dimensional foam under the sentiment die cut and a strip of the gingham Echo Park Farmers Market designer paper to the inside left hand panel.

Stamp Simply May 2024 New Release- Eucalyptus Silhouettes

 

Hi Friends!

Today, I am sharing a very card designed using the brand new release stamp set, Eucalyptus Silhouettes from Stamp Simply (this set also has a coordinating die set and comes as a bundle). 

Sometimes you need to a quick sympathy card and this one was very easy to create:

Using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and a stencil brush, apply ink over a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” piece of white cardstock (to resemble clouds- this is hard to see in the photo).  Heat set the ink with a heat tool.

Ink the Eucalyptus Silhouette images using a variety of green inks and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock around the edges.

De-static an area in the upper right hand part of the panel with an embossing powder tool, ink the sympathy sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink, stamp onto the prepared panel, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Trim the panel to approx. 3 ¾” x 5”, mount onto light green cardstock, trim and mount onto pale blue cardstock, trim and mount onto a white card base.

Add a strip of the white scallop braid trim to the card front and a strip of blue gingham designerpaper along the inside left hand side of the card base to finish off the card.

Nothing Shall Be Impossible

I hope all of you are having a blessed week so far!    Today I am sharing another card designed with stamps, paper and dies from Stamp Simply.  

I decided to pull out two stamp sets- Delightful Dahlias Bundle (for the floral image) along with the verse sentiment from Pray Without Ceasing.   

I also used a scrap piece of pink designer paper from the Echo Park My Favorite Easter paper pad and other accessories from Stamp Simply.

 I enjoy participating with online card challenges and incorporated the Splitcoaststampers SC934 Sketch Challenge into the design along with the Word Art Wednesday #635-#636 Anything Goes Challenge. 

To create this card:

De-static two pieces of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool.

Ink the verse sentiment from the Pray Without Ceasing on one piece and the dahlia image from the Delightful Dahlias Bundle with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Color the dahlia with water-based markers and die cut with the coordinating die (also cut two additional dahlias from white cardstock to layer behind the colored dahlia).

Die cut the sentiment with a rectangle die. Mount the sentiment onto black cardstock and trim close to the edge.

Emboss a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” piece of white cardstock with the Lace Embossing Folder.  

Mount onto a piece of 4 ¼” x 5 ½” piece of black cardstock.

Trim a piece of pink polka dot designer paper from the My Favorite Easter paper approx. 1 ¾” x 4”.  

Mount onto a piece of black cardstock and trim close to the edge before adhering to the embossed card front.

Add the lace withthe pink satin ribbon center, wrapping the ends behind the panel.

Mount onto a white card base.

Die cut a piece of white cardstock with the medium Pierced Rectangle Die.

Mount onto black cardstock, trim close to the edge and adhere the rectangle panel to the card front using dimensional foam.

Adhere the layered verse sentiment with dimensional foam and mount the floral die cut directly to the front of the panels.

Finish off the card using a few pearls.

For God So Loved

 

Hi Friends!

I hope all of you are having a great week!    With Easter approaching at the end of March, our Design Team has been creating Easter and spring encouragement cards this week on the Stamp Simply blog.  

For my Easter card, I decided to pull out two stamp sets- Salvation (for the verse sentiment) along with the  Get Well Tulip Stamp/Die Bundle and paired them with the pink gingham pattern from the Echo Park My Favorite Easter paper pad and other accessories from Stamp Simply.

To create this card:

De-static the upper right hand area of a 4” x 5 ⅛” piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool.

Ink the verse sentiment from the Salvation stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Trim two pieces of the pink gingham My Favorite Easter paper – one approx. 3.75” x 3” and the other approx. 3.75” x 1”.

Mount the larger piece onto the bottom half of the verse panel.

Adhere the layered card front to a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” piece of black white cardstock.

Trim and mount onto a white 4 ¼” x 5 ½” card base.

Die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Tim Holtz Crochet Die.

Adhere the smaller piece of designer paper (from above- 1” x 3.75”) onto white cardstock. 

Trim and adhere the die cut paper lace behind the panel before mounting onto the card front.

De-static another piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, ink the tulip from the Get Well Tulip Bundle with Versamark Onyx Black Ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Once the embossing has cooled, color the tulip with water-based markers.

Die cut the tulip with the coordinating die and cut two additional tulips from white cardstock to layer behind the colored image.

Adhere the tulip to the card front using dimensional foam.

Add a few pearls to the upper right hand and lower left hand corners to finish off the card.

Loved Beyond Measure

I hope all of you are having a fabulous week!    This week on the Stamp Simply blog, we are starting to share Valentine’s Day cards along with Easter and other cards of encouragement.

I wanted to create a Galentine card using the Farmhouse Simple Sentiments along with the new Echo Park Love Notes 6x6 paper pad and a few other supplies from Stamp Simply (since my hubby passed away, I do not create traditional Valentines but thought this sentiment was better for a Galentine). 

This was an easy card to create:

Trim the background papers from the Love Notes 6x6 paper pad, mount onto black cardstock and then adhere to a white card base.

Die cut the flower from red cardstock using the flower dies from the Cinch & Go flowers dies, manipulate the cardstock to create the pointed petals. Layer the flower petals to create the flower.

De-static a piece of black cardstock using an embossing powder tool, ink the sentiment from the Farmhouse Simple Sentiments stamp set with Versamark ink, stamp onto the prepared cardstock, apply white embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

The center panel is one of the cut a-parts and mounted with dimensional foam.  Adhere the sentiment layer directly over the main image. 

Add the felt leaves from the May Arts Vintage Sampler Shabby Rosettes with Leaves before adding the die cut flower.

Adhere the strip of lace with pearls and large pearl in the flower center to finish off the card.
