Parisian Birthday Wishes

Hi Stampers!

I created this card for a wonderful friend using the colors from this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge CCMC124 (see http://www.createwithconnieandmary.com ).
This color combination is one of my favorite color combinations and the Design Team’s samples are so beautiful.

I decided to combine the two SU! French theme sets again- Artistic Etchings from the main catalog and French Foliage from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  This card has a vintage feel and my friend loves anything vintage- I hope she will enjoy this card:-)

Using the Big Shot, I embossed a piece of Crumb Cake with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and mounted this piece onto Basic Black.  A piece of Black Striped Grosgrain Ribbon was attached and using Glue Dots, I pinched the ribbon in at three points and attached the 5/8” Black Satin Ribbon bows.

Stamp the French Script background stamp with Crumb Cake on a piece of Very Vanilla, stamp the leaves and the round seal.  De-static the card stock with the Embossing Buddy, stamp the Eiffel Tower stamp in Versamark, then Basic Black.  Heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder.  Layer this piece onto Basic Black and adhere to the card front.

Punch out a piece of Basic Black with the Decorative XL Punch and a piece of embossed Crumb Cake with the Modern Label Punch.  The  sentiment is from Watercolor Trio and stamped in the same manner as the Eiffel Tower on a scrap of the Very Vanilla created in the step above.   Add a few small pearls and adhere to the card front.

Stamp Sets:  Artistic Etchings, French Foliage, Watercolor Trio
Cardstock:  Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
