Merry Christmas- More Fun with the Christmas Bauble :-)

Hi Stampers!

I wanted to create a card using the second Christmas Bauble image (I had previously
colored with the Paper Players PP213 Color Challenge byAnne Marie- love this color combo! ) and this time paired it with the Pals Paper Arts PPA220 Sketch.

I hope you will find the time to visit both sites to see the gorgeous Design Team cards as well as their fantastic galleries!

To create this Clean and Layered (CAL) card:

Ink the Christmas Bauble and Endless Wishes sentiment images onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink.

Color the ornament using Stampin’ Write Markers- Always Artichoke, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze and Baked Brown Sugar.

Use an AquaPainter™ with retired Frost White Shimmer Paint over the Baked Brown Sugar center area, add a few highlights using the Chalk Marker and carefully cut around the ornament.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Backed Brown Sugar cardstock.

Stamp the sentiment from Endless Wishes using Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock, trim and layer onto Cajun Craze cardstock, trim and layer onto Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

Insert the sentiment panel into the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to avoid embossing over the sentiment.

Wrap the retired Gold Cord around the ornament and mount the ornament onto sentiment panel per the sketch.

Add the panel to the Baked Brown Sugar layer and mount onto the Blackberry Bliss card base.

Adhere the Pearls to the center of the ornament to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets: Christmas Bauble, Endless Wishes

Ink: Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink , Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink; Stampin’ Write markers- Always Artichoke, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Baked Brown Sugar; Chalk Marker

Paper: Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze

Accessories: Big Shot™, Northern Flurry and Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folders, Pearls, AquaPainter™, retired Frost White Shimmer Paint

Thanks again for visiting- I hope you have a great Friday!!

Julie, your ornament with the holly is gorgeous. I hadn't thought of these colors as a Christmas card - but it was genius! So glad you joined us at the Paper Players again this week

I love a Christmas card in non-traditional colours; your card works so well and I would never have thought of using this palette on a Christmas card. I really like the way you used both embossing folders too. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
