Hi Stampers!
While I had the Daydream Jumbo Wheel in my
hand, I wanted to create one more Clean and Simple (CAS) card and decided to use
the crisp and bright colors in the Create with Connie and Mary CCMC214 ColorChallenge.
If you have not had the time to visit their
site, I would highly recommend it. The
Design Team samples are wonderful and so diverse and the entries are as well.
To create this easy CAS card:
Ink the Daydream Jumbo Wheel using Midnight
Muse Classic Ink and stamp or roll onto Whisper White cardstock.
Use the Big Shot™ with the Fancy Fan
Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Gumball Green Core’dinations
Specialty Paper and sand the embossing to expose the lighter core (FYI- just a friendly warning- this paper creates a lot of "fuzz" that you could save and make your own version of flower soft:-)).
Also with the Big Shot™ cut a piece of
Whisper White and Daffodil Delight with the Adorning Accents Edgelits™ and
emboss with the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder.
Layer the Daydream panel onto Midnight Muse
and the embossed curved panels (adding the sentiment before adhering to the
Gumball Green embossed background).
Stamp
the butterflies using Midnight Muse Classic Ink onto Whisper White, punch out
with the Elegant Butterfly Punch and also punch two butterflies from Midnight
Muse cardstock (for the shadow layer).
Add the butterflies to the panel, the ½”
Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon triple bow and Rhinestones to finish off
the card.
