Christmas Peace and Joy

 




Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing another Christmas card using the Vintage Christmas Background and Christmas Joy Bundle (all from Stamp Simply)!



I enjoy playing along with online challenges and will be linking this card to the Cards 4 Galz "#240 Christmas" ChallengeThe Tic-Tac-Toe #262 “Featured Designer Betty” Challenge (diagonal top right down  Metallic- Embossing (I have wet and dry)- Die Cuts) and the Word Art Wednesday #677-#678 “Anything Goes” Challenge.

 If you have not had a chance to stop by the Stamp Simply blog or the other challenge sites yet , I encourage you to do so- wonderful inspiration from all!

To create this card:

De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool.

Using Versamark ink, stamp the Vintage Christmas Background onto the prepared panel, apply gold embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Using the Vintage Ovals and Twigs die, die cut the coordinating oval from the background. 



De-static the oval area with an embossing powder tool, ink the bow image from the Christmas Joy Bundle with Versamark, apply gold embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Repeat the above steps for the small ornament and sentiment (from Vintage Christmas Background).

Trim the embossed background panel, mount onto a piece of white cardstock and trim again, close to the edge.

De-static another piece of white cardstock and repeat the above steps with the larger ornament image.  Once the embossing has cooled, die cut with the coordinating ornament die.

Mount the background panel onto a piece of copper metallic cardstock and adhere to a white card base.

Die cut the twigs from copper metallic cardstock.

Adhere a few twigs behind the oval sentiment die cut before re-positioning it onto the card front.



Add the additional copper twigs directly to the card front.

Adhere the large ornament with dimensional foam and finish off the card with a few pearls.

Ink/Mediums: Versamark

Cardstock/Paper: White, Luxury Pearlescent Metallic 80# Text Weight Cardstock- Copper 10 ct  

Accessories/Tools: Gemini, Jr., Stamp Simply Steel Dies- Christmas Joy Bundle, Embossing Powder Tool, Heat Tool, Gold Embossing Powder, Kaisercraft Self-Adhesive Round Pearls- Latte

A Child Is Born

 


Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a Christmas card using the Vintage Christmas Background, Floral Clusters- Winter Poinsettia, and Merry Christmas (all from Stamp Simply)!

I love the new Vintage Christmas Background stamp, don’t you?  It can be paired with so many different Stamp Simply stamp sets- if you have time, stop by the Stamp Simply blog to check out the gorgeous creations from my Sister Design Team members.

I enjoy playing along with online challenges and will be linking this card to  the Addicted to Stamps & More #482 Christmas Challenge, the Festive Friday #FF0173 “Traditional Christmas” Challenge (Red, Green, Gold, Embossing, Christmas Sentiment) and the Word Art Wednesday #675-#676 “Anything Goes” Challenge.

To create this card:

De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool.

Using Versamark ink, stamp the Vintage Christmas Background stamp with onto the prepared panel, apply gold embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Repeat the above steps for the verse sentiment.



Once the embossing has cooled, trim the panel, mount onto dark green cardstock, trim again and mount onto red cardstock, before adhering to a white card base.


Ink the
poinsettia image with Versafine Onyx Black ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Once the embossing has cooled, water-color the image with water-based markers and use a white paint pen for the floral center.

Use the Floral Clusters die to die cut the poinsettia (also, die cut an additional die cut from white cardstock to layer behind the colored image).

Mount the floral image onto the card front with dimensional foam.

Add a few rhinestones to the card front to finish off the card.

Ink/Mediums: Versafine Black Onyx, Versamark , Stampin’ Write Markers- Cherry Cobbler, Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Mossy Meadow

Cardstock/Paper: White, Mossy Meadow, Real Red

Accessories/Tools: Gemini, Jr., Stamp Simply Dies- Floral Cluster and Sprigs, Embossing Powder Tool, Heat Tool, Gold and Clear Embossing Powder, Kaisercraft Self-Adhesive Round Rhinestones- Split Pea

Cardinal Christmas

 



Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing another Christmas card featuring the Vintage Christmas Background, with two stamp sets- Vintage Christmas Images Bundle and Christmas Peace along with dies and other supplies (all from Stamp Simply)!.

I enjoy playing along with online challenges and will be linking this card to the Word Art Wednesday #671-#672 “Anything Goes” Challenge.

If you have not had a chance to check out the rest of my Sister Design Team cards on the Stamp Simply blog, or the Word Art Wednesday challenge site yet, I hope you take the time to do so- gorgeous inspiration from all!

 

To create this card:



De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool. 

Stamp the Vintage Christmas Background stamp with Versamark ink, apply pewter embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.



De-static the area in the oval of the image with an embossing powder tool, ink the sentiment from the Christmas Peace stamp set with Versamark ink, apply pewter embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Trim the panel and mount onto a piece of green cardstock, trim again and mount onto a white card base.

De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, ink the cardinal/birdhouse image from the Vintage Christmas Images Bundle set with Versafine Black Onyx ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Watercolor the image with distress inks and water-based markers.

Die cut with the coordinating die, layer onto another plain die cut from white cardstock.

Add the image with dimensional foam to the card front.



Die cut several twigs from green cardstock using the Floral Cluster and Sprigs dies.

Mount onto the card front and add a red seam binding bow.

Add a few red pearls to the card front to finish off the card.

Ink/Mediums: Versafine Black Onyx, Versamark, Distress inks and Water-based Markers- Reds, Greens, Browns

Wishing You Joy

 




Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a Christmas card featuring the Vintage Christmas Background, the Vintage Christmas Images Bundle along with dies and other supplies (all from Stamp Simply)!.

The Vintage Christmas Background stamp is so versatile and can be used with many other stamp sets.  Paired with the Vintage Christmas Images stamp set, you can have at least four different versions.

I am also linking this card to one of my favorite online challenges, the Word Art Wednesday #669-#670 “Anything Goes” challenge.

To create this card:

De-static a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” woodgrain designer paper (from the Carta Bella Welcome Winter paper pad) with an embossing powder tool, stamp the Vintage Christmas Background stamp with Versamark ink, apply gold embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

De-static the area in the oval of the image with an embossing powder tool, ink the sentiment from the Vintage Christmas Images stamp set with Versamark ink, apply gold embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Trim the panel and mount onto a piece of white cardstock, trim again and mount onto a piece of green cardstock.  Trim once more and mount onto a white card base.



Die cut several twigs from green cardstock using the Floral Cluster and Sprigs dies.

Mount onto the card front and add a red seam binding bow.

De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, ink the skate image from the Vintage Christmas Images Bundle set with Versafine Black Onyx ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Color the image with watercolor pencils and water-based markers.

Die cut with the coordinating die, layer onto another plain die cut from white cardstock.

Add the image with dimensional foam to the card front.

Add a few red rhinestones to the card front to finish off the card.

Stamp Simply August 2024 Release- Merry Christmas

 




Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a card designed with the two brand new bundles-  Vintage Christmas Background and Vintage Christmas Images  from the Vintage Christmas Release at Stamp Simply!


This is another quick and easy card and with postage rising still relatively flat for mailing.  



To create this card:

De-static a piece of dark kraft cardstock with an embossing powder tool, stamp the Vintage ChristmasBackground image with Versafine Black Onyx ink onto the prepared cardstock, apply clear embossing powder and heat set the heat tool.

Die cut the oval from the background using the Vintage Ovals and Twigs Dies.

De-static a piece of white woodgrain designer paper with an embossing powder tool, stamp the sentiment from Vintage Christmas Images with Versafine Onyx Black ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with heat tool.

Trim the designer paper to fit behind the die-cut oval in the background image.

Trim and distress the edges of the background image panel and adhere onto a piece of black cardstock.



Mount the background panel onto a white card base and add a strip of the white woodgrain designer paper to the inside left-hand side of the card base.

Ink the bell image from the Vintage Christmas Images with Versafine Black Onyx ink, stamp onto a prepared piece of white cardstock, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.

Color the image with distress inks and watercolor pencils.

Die cut the bells with the coordinating die (also die-cutting a few extra bell images to layer behind the colored image).

Mount the bell image with dimensional foam and add a few green rhinestones to finish off the card.
