Hi Again Friends!
This card was created for Splitcoaststampers’ HYCCT1501C Stamp_Momma’s(Lori) “Split the Difference” Challenge along with the TGIF! #23 "Rich Old Pumpkin" Color Challenge, CAS-ual Chic “CCC04 Tic Tac Toe” Challenge (Coloring, Spritzing and Die Cutting) and the
Splitcoaststampers’ MIX118 “Smash It” Challenge.
Again, I hope you have a chance to check out the challenge sites-
so much inspiration from all!
To create this card:
Using the instructions under the MIX118 Challenge, cut the top
of the zip lock bag off and cut up the sides to create a plastic “book”, scribble
onto one side of the interior of the bag using Stampin’ Write Markers- Pumpkin
Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.
Spritz the marker ink using water, close the other side of the
bag over the marker side and “smoosh” the ink, open the bag and insert a piece
of Whisper White cardstock onto the ink.
Lift the panel and repeat as needed until the panel is full of
ink.
Dry the panel with the Heat Tool and once dry, apply the
Embossing Buddy® to de-static the panel.
Ink the retired Bella Toile background stamp with Versamark® ink
and stamp over the panel. Apply Stampin’
Emboss® White Embossing Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.
Once the embossing powder has dried, color a few of the
leaves, flowers and scrolls with the Stampin’ Write markers used in the step
above.
Trim the panel and ink the large splatter stamp from Gorgeous
Grunge over the image. Lightly wipe all
of the excess ink from the embossing using a damp paper towel.
Mount the panel onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, trim
and mount onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry, trim and mount ono the Old Olive
card base.
Ink the sentiment from the retired Sweet Little Sentiments set
using Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink and stamp onto Whisper White cardstock.
Trim and mount onto Pumpkin Pie cardstock,
trim and mount again onto Rich Razzleberry cardstock.
Adhere the sentiment layer to the front of the card.
Create the roses from Rich Razzleberry cardstock using the Big
Shot™ with the My Favorite Things™ (MFT) Mini and Royal Rose Dies, roll up and
adhere the centers with adhesive (I prefer Hot Glue).
Punch the leaves from Old Olive cardstock using the Martha
Stewart (MS) Leaf Punch and add the leaves to the back of the roses.
Mount the roses onto the card front to finish off the card.
