ODBDSLC260 Glory To God

Hello Friends!

Heat embossing was one of the first techniques that I discovered when I started stamping sixteen years ago and I still think it is a very easy way to add elegance to a card.

I decided to use the brand new Elegant Embellishments clear stamp set (with the coordinating Elegant Embellishments dies) along with the Vintage Flourish Patterns Die for the dry embossed background.

To create this card:
Stamp Sets- Elegant Embellishments, Dies- Vintage Flourish Patterns Dies,
Elegant Embellishments Dies, Vintage Label Dies, Christmas Collection 2015 6x6

Emboss a piece of White cardstock using the Vintage Flourish Patterns Die (I love the fact that these dies can be used to cut, emboss or just emboss) and trim the panel.

Cut a piece of the Christmas Collection 2015 6x6 Paper using the Vintage Labels Die and adhere to the center of the white embossed panel.

Ink the Elegant Embellishments stamps using Versamark™ ink, stamp onto white cardstock and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder.

Another view- it is difficult to see the two tone gold/silver
embossing on the upper left ornament
Use the Elegant Embellishments Dies to cut out the ornaments, add the Gold Cord trim and mount the ornaments to the card front (using dimensional foam for two of the ornaments).

Add the 5/8” Gold Satin Ribbon bow to the corner and mount the entire panel onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Adhere the entire panel to the white card base and add the Gold Cord bows to the ornaments along with the Pearls to finish off the card.

I am so thrilled to be designing alongside the talented ODBD Design Team and hope you will check out all of my DT sisters:
