Hi Friends!
Today I am sharing
this easy Mixed Media card with an Emboss Resist technique on the Artistic Outpost Blog and wanted to share it
with all of you as well.
This card uses the Artistic
Outpost (AO) stamp sets- Seed Packets Background, Harvest and Grunge Elements
(all available from Our Daily Bread Designs).
I am also linking this card to the Alphabet Challenge "R for Recipe" (Sentiment, Stamp, Embossing) along with the Splitcoaststampers' Try A New Technique TLC573 "Revisiting Emboss Resist" Challenge (from 02/16/16)- I love the fact that the SCS Challenges do not end :-)

If you have not had a
chance to visit the Artistic Outpost Blog yet, I
encourage you to do so- great inspiration from all of my Design Team sisters!
De-static a piece of white
cardstock with an embossing powder tool, stamp the AO Seed Packets Backgroundimage with embossing ink, stamp onto the prepared white cardstock, apply white
embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
Once the powder has
cooled, use water base markers to color the images and wipe off the excess ink
with a paper towel.
Once you are
satisfied with the color, ink the large splatter stamp from the AO Grunge Elements stamp set with vintage photo distress ink, stamp over the embossed
panel to add distressing and wipe off the excess.
Trim the panel, mount
onto the espresso cardstock, trim again and mount onto the suede card base.
Ink the sentiment
from the AO Harvest stamp set with clear embossing powder, stamp onto a scrap
piece of prepared white cardstock and emboss with espresso embossing powder.
Trim the embossed sentiment
to size, mount onto espresso cardstock and add to the card front with
dimensional foam.
Add the polished hemp
twine strands and bow to finish off the card.
What a fun card to
design and I hope I have inspired you to create something this weekend! Thanks again for taking the time to stop by- hugs
to all of you!
