Hi Friends!
Today I am sharing a card that is being featured on the Stamp Simply blog using
the Amy
Design Amazing Owls 6x6 paper pad
along with stamps, dies, and other supplies (all available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store).
I enjoy participating with online challenges and will be adding this card
to the Alphabet
Challenge “B is for Birds” and the Simon
Wednesday “Anything Goes” Challenge.
If you have not had a chance to visit the Stamp Simply blog or
the other challenge sites yet, I encourage you to do so- gorgeous inspiration
from all!
To create this card:
Trim the piece of owl paper from the Amazing
Owls 6x6 paper pad, mount onto a piece of white cardstock, trim, and mount
onto a piece of black cardstock.
Add a strip of moss
seam binding, wrapping the ends to behind the panel and mount the entire background
onto a white card base.
De-static a piece of white cardstock with an embossing powder tool, stamp the verse sentiment from Words of Encouragement stamp set using a pigment black ink, apply clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
Die cut the sentiment with the medium sized die from the Tim
Holtz Tag Collection Dies (die cut two additional tags from white cardstock
to layer behind the sentiment tag).
Add an antique eyelet (this is optional- I have so many eyelets in my
stash, lol!) and loop a piece of moss
seam binding.
Mount the tag to the card front using dimensional foam (or chipboard).
Add the strip of pearl
centered lace to finish off the card.
