Hi Friends!
Today I am sharing a
quick Christmas card using the Angels Among Us Bundle and Merry Christmas (all from Stamp Simply)!
I enjoy playing
along with online challenges and will be linking this card to the Color
Hues #100 “Blues/Purples” Challenge and the Word
Art Wednesday #677-#678 “Anything Goes” Challenge.
If you have not had a chance to stop by the Stamp
Simply blog or the Word ArtChallenge site yet , I encourage you to do so- fabulous inspiration from all!
To create this card:
Using a stencil
brush, apply Tumbled Glass and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide ink onto a
white panel.
Using a stencil brush
with Broken China Distress Oxide ink, apply the ink over the panel with the Tim Holtz Flourish Stencil.
Once you are satisfied
with the background panel, trim and mount onto a white card base.
De-static a piece of
white cardstock with an embossing powder tool.
Using Versamark ink, stamp the angel and trumpet image from Angels Among Us and
the star from Merry Christmas with Versamark ink onto the prepared panel, apply
gold embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
Repeat the above
steps for the verse sentiment from Merry Christmas on a separate white cardstock panel.
Once the embossing
has cooled, die cut the angel, trumpet and star with the coordinating dies.
Die cut the
sentiment with a rectangle die.
Mount the sentiment
directly to the card front.
Adhere the star,
angel and trumpet with dimensional foam.
To finish off the
card, add the bliss pearls to the star center and lower right-hand corner of
the sentiment.
