HYCCT1527KIDS Furry Kisses

Hi Friends!
Angel

This card was created for the Splitcoaststampers’ “Hope You Can Cling To” HYCCT1527KIDS Andi’s “Mom’s Fave” Challenge to have your kids create a card of something that Mom loves...well, since I do not have any children, my "girls" Angel and Queenie decided to take action :-)

Queenie
The "girls" decided to use a Clean and Simple (CAS) layout with the Simon Says Stamp “Furry Kisses” stamp set (one of their very favorites- can you guess why?).

They know that they are Mom's favorite "people" (besides Daddy) and they watercolored the images with markers adding a few paw prints along with a heart for their love for me :-)

The  "girls" hope you have
had a chance to visit the Splitcoaststampers' "Hope You Can Cling To" HYCCT1527KIDS gallery- terrific artwork from all of the "kids" :-) !!

Stamp Sets:  Furry Kisses (Simon Says Stamp)

Ink: Stāz-On® Jet Black, Stampin’ Write Markers- Smoky Slate, Hello Honey, Melon Mambo

Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Melon Mambo

Accessories: Big Shot™, MFT Blueprints 20 Dies, AquaPainter™, Rhinestones

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by- Angel and Queenie hope you like their take on this challenge :-)

I will be sharing more of the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge cards later today!

Furry Kisses- Can't Help Loving You :-)

Hi Stampers!!

I decided to pull out a few stamps and create a Clean and Simple card for this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch! CTS122 Sketch Challenge, the Hand Stamped SentimentsHSSSC211 Color Challenge along with the Simon Monday Challenge “Simon Brand Product” Challenge.

Again, if you have not already done so, I hope you will find the time to visit the above challenge sites!  They have wonderful Design Team samples as well as inspiration from their galleries!

To  create this card:

Using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink, stamp the cat image from Simon Says Furry Kisses onto Whisper White cardstock.

Color with an AquaPainter™ and Hello Honey Classic Ink and add additional shadows and stripes with the Hello Honey Stampin’ Write Marker.

Carefully cut the image out and cut the cats apart.

Ink the two images from the soon-to-be retired Tape It stamp set- one with Night of Navy Classic Ink, the other with Strawberry Slush Classic Ink and stamp onto Whisper White cardstock.

Ink the sentiment with Night of Navy and the little heart with Strawberry Slush and stamp below the faux washi tape images.

Trim the panel, mount onto a piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock, trim and mount onto a piece of Night of Navy cardstock, trim again and mount onto the Whisper White card base.

Mount the two cat images onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals® and add the little punched heart (from the Owl Builder Punch and Strawberry Slush cardstock) to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets:  Tape It, Furry Kisses (Simon Says Stamp)

Ink:  Hello Honey, Night of Navy, Strawberry Slush

Paper: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Strawberry Slush

Accessories: AquaPainter™, Owl Builder Punch

Thanks again for stopping by- have a terrific Thursday, my friends!

Wishing You A Purr-Fect Valentine Day- Three Challenges in One!

Hi Stampers!!

This Clean and Layered (CAL) card was created for the Splitcoaststampers CC515 Color Challenge (Real Red, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso with dessert option of two punches) along with the SR264 Stampin’ Royalty Love/Valentine Challenge and the Paper Players PP230 Critter Valentine Theme Challenge :-)

Again, if you have not had the chance to do so, I hope you will find the time to visit each of the above sites- wonderful inspiration from all!

To create this card:

Ink the stamp image using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Color the image using Stampin’ Write markers – Crumb Cake for the cats and Real Red for the hearts ..FYI- my Crumb Cake marker was a bit dry (I have had the same marker for years)  so I also added a bit of color with a Derwent® Raw SiennaWatercolor Pencil to even the tone :-)).

Ink the heart border from Chalk Lines using Real Red Classic Ink and stamp onto the bottom part of the image (below the kitties :-)).

Center the image on the Big Shot™ with the Hearts Collection Framelits™ and cut out the main image along with another heart from Early Espresso cardstock.

Cut the Early Espresso heart in half and layer behind the main image panel.

Stamp the sentiment using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink onto another piece of Whisper White cardstock and color the hearts with the Real Red marker.

Trim the sentiment panel and mount onto a piece of Early Espresso cardstock, trim and mount onto the Real Red card base.

Mount the heart focal image panel onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.

Use the Bow Builder Punch to create a bow from Real Red cardstock.   Add the Early Espresso button (with a strip of Real Red cardstock to mimic thread) to the center and mount onto the card front to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets:  Chalk Lines, Furry Kisses (Simon Says Stamp)

Ink: Memento™ Tuxedo Black, Real Red; Stampin’ Write Markers- Crumb Cake, Real Red; Derwent® Watercolor Pencil- Raw Sienna

Paper: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Real Red

Accessories: Big Shot™, Hearts Collection Framelits™, Bow Builder Punch, Neutrals Button Collection
