SUO193 Love You

Hi Friends!

It’s time for the #193 “Hearts A Plenty” Challenge at SU-Only Challenges!  I decided to use a resist technique with the Bloomin’ Love stamp set and the new Brilliant Red Brusho® Crystal Colour Watercolor Ink Crystals.

I am also incorporating the Tic-Tac-Toe #032 Challenge (bottom row across Sparkle-Love and Free) along with the Dragonfly Journeys #110 “The Power of Red” Challenge and the Simon Says Monday "Resist It" Challenge into the design.

If you have not had a chance to stop by the SU-Only Challengesite to check out the rest of the Design Team’s samples or the other challenge sites yet, I encourage you to do so- wonderful inspiration from all!

To create this card:

1). De-static a piece of Whisper White cardstock with an Embossing Buddy®, ink the floral heart image from Bloomin’ Love with Versamark™ ink, stamp onto the prepared panel, apply Stampin’ Emboss® White Embossing Powder and heat with the Heat Tool.  Repeat the steps for two additional heart images.

2). Once the embossing has cooled, sprinkle a bit of the Brilliant Red Brusho® Crystal Colour onto the panel, lightly spritz with water and continue to add color as needed.  Dry carefully with the Heat Tool.

3). Ink the “XOXO” , “Be Mine” and small open heart images from Bloomin’ Love along with the small splatter stamp image from Timeless Textures with Stampin’ Archival Basic Black Ink, stamp onto the panel and heat set with the Heat Tool.

4). Trim the panel and mount onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock before mounting onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock.  Adhere the entire panel to an Extra Thick Whisper White card base.

5). Heat emboss the sentiment onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock using Stampin’ Emboss® White Embossing Powder, trim and mount onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals®.

6). Apply shimmer to all of the hearts with Clear Wink of Stella® and add a few Pearls to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets:  Bloomin’ Love

Ink/Mediums: Versamark™, Clear Wink of Stella®, Brilliant Red Brusho® Crystal Colour

Paper: Whisper White, Extra Thick Whisper White, Basic Black

Accessories/Tools: Embossing Buddy®, Stampin’ Emboss® White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Pearls

SUO167 Bloomin' Love

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing my card for the new SUO Challenges #167 “Timefor Valentines”!

I decided to pull out Bloomin’ Love stamp set and pair it with the Detailed Floral Thinlits™ and Bloomin’ HeartThinlits™ for this quick card.

I decided to use the Splitcoaststampers’ CC618 Color Challenge along with the Simon Says Wednesday #Anything Goes” Challenge for the design as well.

If you have not had a chance to stop by the SU-Only Challenge site to check out the rest of the Design Team projects or the other challenge sites, I hope you will do so- wonderful inspiration from all!

To create this card:

1). Trim a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, mount onto a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock, trim and mount onto the Basic Gray card front.

2). Mount the entire card front onto the Extra Thick Whisper White card base.

3). Use the Big Shot™ along with the Detailed Floral Thinlits™ to die cut both pieces from a piece of Basic Gray cardstock and mount onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.

4). Ink the floral heart image from Bloomin’ Love with Versamark™ ink, stamp onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, apply Stampin’ Emboss® Silver Embossing Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.

5). Once the embossing powder has cooled, die cut with the Layering Circle Framelits™ (also cutting one with the same size circle from Basic Gray, split in half and mount behind the floral heart image).  Die cut a circle using the next largest die from Rose Red and mount behind the image.

5). Heat emboss the sentiment from Bloomin’ Love with silver embossing powder onto a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, create the banner with the retired Hexagon Punch, mount onto Basic Gray and Rose Red cardstock and adhere behind the layered floral image circle.

6). Mount the entire layered floral image and sentiment panel onto the card front on an angle.

7). Die cut a few of the small blossoms from the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits™ from Rose Red cardstock, mount onto the card front and add a few Pearls to finish off the card.

What I Love- You!

Hi Friends!

I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend!  I have been working on a few projects and wanted to share a quick, easy Valentine’s Day card using the new What I Love (2016 SAB set) along with the Bloomin’ Love (Occasions Mini set).

I decided to incorporate the Create with Connie and Mary CCMC388 Color Challenge as well as the Pals Paper Arts PPA282 Sketch and if you have not had a chance to either site yet, I encourage you to do so, fabulous inspiration from all!

To create this Clean and Simple (CAS) card:

Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock and mount onto the Blackberry Bliss card base.

Ink the heart image from Bloomin’ Love with Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Using the Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers, color the flower centers as well as around the leaves/ background and carefully fussy-cut out the heart (be careful as you color since the Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink will definitely run if you touch it too much with your markers :-)).

Ink the banner stamp with Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink, stamp onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock, fussy-cut the banner and mount the banner behind the fussy-cut heart image.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Heart Framelits™ to cut a heart from Bermuda Bay and Blackberry Bliss cardstock, split the Blackberry Bliss in half and adhere behind the Bermuda Bay heart.

Mount the fussy-cut heart/banner onto the layered cardstock heart using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Happy Heart Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock, trim and mount onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and mount the panel onto the card front.

Ink the sentiment from What I Love using Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Trim the sentiment panel and mount onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock, adhere this panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.

Mount the heart layer to the card front to finish off the card.

Quick, easy and fun!!  You know me, I may have to add a few Rhinestones or Pearls but tried to leave it CAS for now :-)

Stamp Sets:  Bloomin’ Love (2016 Occasions Mini), What I Love (2016 SAB)

Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Stampin’ Write Markers- Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz
